You can't go wrong with the chicken. Delicious, easy to make, and most people love chicken. This is probably why the chicken recipe is so famous. Chicken recipes can be as healthy or as unusual as you like. Chicken is certainly a sensible solution for any occasion.
I think there's almost nothing you can't do with chicken. Add what you have and almost 100% success. In general, we know the very famous chicken in red wine, chicken stew with cola and even mayonnaise and instant soups. All in all, the old cliché that "anything goes" really stands out.
So, without anything in common, we have to look at delicious chicken recipes.
Elsie Plain Broiler Chicken
This chicken recipe from my Best Recipes cookbook is super easy to make. Despite the fact that it takes 1 1/2 hours to cook on the stove, you can pop it in the grill and switch to something else so you really don't put a lot of work into it and it tastes great. Serve this delicious chicken with rice or potatoes and a plate of mixed greens and you are sure to have a great time.
Ingredients for this recipe:
2 1/2 - 3 pounds Chicken cut into 6 pieces
1 cup cream
3 tablespoons of curry powder
1 onion, finely chopped
1 can of mushroom soup
2 tbsp
1 peeled apple, finely chopped
Salt, pepper and paprika to taste
Technique for this recipe:
Melt margarine in a skillet.
Sauté the onions, apples and curry powder with margarine until the onions are translucent.
Add soup and cream and bring to a boil without bubbling.
Chicken salt to taste.
In a large, shallow ovenproof dish, place the chicken in a single layer.
Sprinkle chicken with paprika.
Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Cook uncovered for about 1 ½ hours.
The following chicken recipe is really for those occasions where there's just no time to cook. Put the chicken in, put it in the oven and let it cook until done. For this situation, aluminum foil acts as the hero. Be sure to use film with the glossy side on the inside and the matte side on the outside.
Tinfoil Chicken Delicious from my own cookbook with the best recipes.
Place the chicken (size as needed) on a large sheet of foil. Sprinkle a spoonful of the dry soup around the chicken. (If the chicken is very large, additional broth may be needed.) Any stock will do. The earthy onion soup is also delicious. Add the cleaned onions to the chicken. Cover the chicken with foil and place in a preheated grill at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours until cooked through.
Serve the chicken like any other chicken dish. Since there isn't much sauce, I usually don't serve this chicken with rice, but with potatoes and vegetables.
